Mike Gulf and Cav Tanker are brothers and both 19K M1A2 tankers in the US Army. They started the blog in January of 2005, initially to express their frustration at the lack of American support for the Iraq conflict and to pay tribute to their Military heritage of Patriotism and Honor. They are both Iraq War veterans from 2004-2005, and were both in Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom 2 and literally side-by- side most of the time. They are currently stationed at Fort Hood, gearing up to go back to Iraq.
