Each TRICARE region is served by TRICARE offices which are staffed by beneficiary service representatives who can explain the different TRICARE options and help you choose the plan that suits you best. These offices can also provide:

  • TRICARE benefits interpretation
  • TRICARE Prime enrollment
  • Primary care manager selection and changes
  • Assistance with referrals and appointments to military treatment facilities (MTFs)
  • Claims status and claims resolution and assistance
  • Eligibility status
  • A list of TRICARE network providers and pharmacies
  • Appeals and fraud information
  • TRICARE Forms

The TRICARE North region is managed by Health Net Federal Services, LLC ( 

Covers: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia the District of Columbia, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Note:  This office also covers a small portion of Missouri and Iowa.
