A major focus of the Juanita June Foundation in 2012 is to have a positive impact among YOUTH and reverse the onset of childhood type II diabetes.We are partnering with local corp,schools and YOUTH GROUPS,to ensure that our Youth Initiatives are effective.The rate of childhood obesity has risen sharply,so have the rate of diabetes among youth.The JJF is sponsoring our 1st Annual Youth 5K & 1 mile fun run for children ages 7 years to 18 years.
