In 1972, Winston released his first solo album, Ballads and Blues, which remains popular today. Among his gold, platinum and double platinum albums are: December, Winter into Spring, Summer, Autumn, Forest, Linus and Lucy - The Music of Vince Guaraldi and Plains. Mr. Winston was also the focus of a feature length video/DVD produced for PBS, entitled George Winston - Seasons in Concert, which includes live concert performances and interviews.
