I contacted your office today and was told that you know nothing about Disneyland military appreciation tickets for 2012-2013. As soon as I got off the phone I contacted the Disneyland ticket office and they informed me that they have released the information and tickets ARE NOW AVAILABLE at our base offices. They stated that you have a contact person and you may want to get in touch with them. Because we were coming to the base this Friday the 7th of Sept. we planned on picking up tickets. We are well over an hour away and will not be back at the base for another 3 months which will be to late to get the tickets from your office.

imfreen0w..... The Disney site states "Eligible military personnel are active or retired members of the U.S. military, including the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard. Valid military identification will be required for purchase." mbflake ... Find prices here: Now my question is... how come when I called the ITT desk at 4pm I got a recorded message, saying to leave a message because they were with a customer, yet when I didn't get a return call in 45 min. and called back the line has been disconnected?

These negative comments should be sent to the ITT website not MWR. And yes we have had some terrible encounters with the "Ladies" at ITT. If you go in there ready to buy tickets, you can will be out in 5 minutes. When it comes to asking questions, the answer "It's on the rack". As for questions about Disneyland military days/dicounts, "We don't know anything about this, you need to call their office". These ladies have been there for quite some time and should update their information at least weekly or whenever they get the it. Next time I am sure we will use the commander's hotline to see what can be done or have these ladies take classes in customer service. As we all know, they are there to assist "The Customer".

If you are rated permanent and total by the VA you can obtain a MWR ID which allows you to have all the privileges a retired service person has. When you are rated P and T they will send you an authorization letter which you take to your nearest military facility personnel office and you and your wife will be issued a ID and privilege card. Make sure you take the VA letter with you and a marriage certificate. I use my card, when traveling, to stay at military inns. Google DOD Lodging.
