I could not find a place that allowed me to rate the customer service experience I just had with this facility. I called for information and clairification about an event sponsored by the EFMP office. I was actually calling to VOLUNTEER and admitted to the woman who anwered the phone (she did not give her name) that I needed help understanding the flyer. She was very curt and short with me, she sighed in exaggerated exasperation each time I asked her a question and before we hung up (as she was dimissing me off the phone in a hurry) I tried to thank her very much for her time and for her patience with me...she HUNG UP ON ME before I could finish thanking her! Wow. Is the kind of service provided by the EMPF office? Is this the kind of person the EFMP office wants answering their phones? I admitted I was confused and I admitted I needed her help and I even tried to thank her for her assistance (despite her being rude) and she hung up on me mid-sentence. I am sorry I had that experience. Especially because I was calling to help and to sign-up as a volunteer. The phone number I called was 221-2962.
