The Metropolitan Wind Symphony band concert program includes William Schuman's wind classic, A New England Triptych, Jason Caron performing Eric Ewazen's Concerto for Bassoon and Wind Ensemble, and John Harbison's Three City Blocks. Students who study with MWS members will join them for the second half of the program, with Lewis Buckley’s Dances From a Different Village, James Beckel's The American Dream, and Gustav Holst's classic First Suite in Eb will bring the concert to a rousing close. less
