Hi there. I am getting married in October and will be marrying a soldier who is going to be stationed at Fort Richardson. I have been told that I need to get a No Fees Passport. I am going to take his last name and I was wondering if I needed to apply for the passport before I moved with him or if I could move to Alaska first? Also, I know I need to gain sponsorship and I was just curious as to what the process for this is and if I can live with him off base before gaining sponsorship? How long does it usually take to gain sponsorship and get all the paperwork in order so I can move with him? Thanks
