A new special on The History Channel chronicles the heroic efforts of the soldiers who died and risked death storming countless occupied islands to stem the Japanese advance through the Pacific. The History Channel presents D-Days in the Pacific, airing August 14th from 10am to 1pm EST and 4pm to 7pm EST.
