|
One Day, One Afternoon Reunion of former members of the 503rd MP Bn, 118th MP Co (ABN), 22nd MP Platoon, 112th MP Co, 100 MP Bn. Military Police Units stationed at Ft Bragg, NC from May 1966-May 1968. Most of the members were from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, New York, & New Jersey. If you are interested in attending a Fort Bliss Skysweeper Reunion, please plan on coming to El Paso May 16-18, 2008. Static displays of current Air Defense Artillery firepower should be located around the parade field on May 17th, Armed Forces Day. In fact, this may be your last opportunity to see ADA at Fort Bliss, as it will be moving to Fort Sill. You may also like to visit the new museum on base. Several of us have met once before and decided on a return to Fort Bliss. We would like to include you and contact as many others as possible who were in Skysweepers. We need your help in doing this. ARA/AFA/Blue Max
|
This reunion is for anyone who ever served in the Aerial Rocket Artillery, Aerial Field Artillery, or any of the Blue Max units during any time frame.
The guest speaker will be LT Gen August M. Cianciolo who served with the ARA in Vietnam as a platoon Leader, Battery Commander and as a S-3.
There will be a guided tour of Ft Rucker on Friday. A BBQ on Friday night, a show of aircraft by the AAHF and then a dinner on Saturday night.

Our Reunion folks will be going to Noel Field on Saturday morning for Armed Forces Day, and visiting Fort Bliss Museum and other points around the base. Cattleman's Steak House in Fabens Sat. evening. Most of our folks went through the 42 week school at Bliss in the 1950's.

Airborne Armor Reunion

ATTN: All Thunderbolt Troopers, past and present.
We have been asking for it. 1SG Payne, as always, has come up with a great plan so let's support him. The full dress rehearsal is on May 21, 08. That afternoon from 1600-2300 at McKellar's Lodge will be the 82nd Ole Timer's reunion so please make plans to come and look for those Armor guidons. If possibly, we would love to see you march in the actual review on Thursday, the 22nd. Hope to see you there.

Phiippine Scouts Annual Reunion
|
All veterans, family members, and friends of the PS, during all of the fifty years of existence of their outfit's existence, are welcome to attend. It will be a "blast from your past" this year: the theme is the "Fabulous Forties," with the music and suggested dress code (both military or civilian are fine) straight out of the 1940s. The cost per person will be $40.00 for the dinner-dance on Saturday, 24 May 2008, at the hotel. This main event will be preceded by a "Hosted" Cocktail Hour at 1800 hrs. There should be at least one Major General around to shoot the breeze with in that time. The day before, Friday, 23 May 2008, there will be some interesting panel discussions on the PS's contributions during WW II, at the hotel, that will be open to all attendees.
