All Army Reunion
|
The Philadelphia Veterans Comfort House is a shelter for homeless military veterans, and cancer patients.
We?re announcing an event that we think will be the inaugural occasion of a Philadelphia tradition.
In conjunction with Army Birthday / Flag Day celebrations, we are launching the PVCH All-Army Reunion, a service reunion for all US Army veterans on Saturday, 6/15, 10am-4pm at Clark Park in West Philadelphia. The address is 4301 Chester Ave Philadelphia, PA 19104.
While open to all service members past and present and their families, the AAR will emphasize US Army traditions, history and legacy. The reunion tents will be organized around MOS/branch with an additional tent for sister services. This will give hundreds of Army vets and service members a chance to reconnect, share experiences and strengthen their ties to the greatest fighting force for good in the history of the world.
There will be live music, celebrity emcees, access to food and refreshments, information tables from veteran-related groups, silent auctions, event merchandise, US Army historical presentations and other event activities. Tickets are $5.00 per individual and $10.00 per family.
