7th Fighter Command WWII
Please join us in Las Vegas, Nevada for a 7th FC Grand Reunion. This reunion is in conjunction with the 78th Fighter Squadron Reunion being held there. This year?s reunion will be held in conjunction with the Air Force?s ?Aviation Nation 2009? Air Show. Presented by the U.S. Air Force and the men and women serving their country from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Aviation Nation 2009 will be a spectacular aerial event. Aviation Nation is one of the most diverse, entertaining and well run air shows in America. It is the premier air show of the Air Force and one of the largest aviation events in North America. http://aviationnation.org The 78th Reconnaissance Squadron will be will be providing a tour of their base as well as hosting us at the air show. This reunion is a Grand Reunion for our WWII veterans

~2009 Flying Tiger Reunion~ Information on the hotel and hotel and reunion registration (http://www.starwoodmeeting.com/StarGroupsWeb/res?id=0903192099&key=E1F9F) Airport Information Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS) (http://flyvps.com/) You can reserve the rooms straight from the hotel website with little fuss. This website can/will answer many questions folks may have about the room reservations. There is addition information available at this site that may be of interest or helpful to you. The committee has booked rooms with either 2 queen beds or a single king bed. There are rooms that are on the ocean side and on the parking lot side. Also the Sheraton has a fair share of wheelchair accessible rooms and first floor rooms. The king bed rooms on the parking lot side of the hotel are going for $85 a night and the ocean side rooms have 2 queen beds and are going for $100 a night. Buechel AB 50 Year Celebration
Buechel AB will host a 50 year celebration in Fall 2008. This celebration will include current and former personnel assigned to Buechel AB and their families. If you are interested in attending, please send your contact details via Email and you will be added to the distribution list. We are also looking for past photos of the base and surrounding area for a Heritage display, so please submit.
