497th FIS
|
The first 497th FIS reunion have the first squadron reunion after 50 years. We will meet in Kansas City MO May 15, 16, and 17 at the Holiday Inn at the Plaza.
Any squadron member who was stationed at Geiger Field, Spokane, WA and/or Torrejon Air Base, Madrid, Spain are eligible to attend.
For over 18 months we have sought to locate the members. We have had no knowledge of the whereabouts of any of these guys; just names. After much perseverance, we have managed to locate 159 living members and 78 that are now deceased. We still have at least 150 more guys that we have not located but it isn't because we have not tried. If any of you were a member of this squadron;please make contact with us as soon as possible.

USS Cony 26th Reunion
|
Reunion will include a tour of San Antionio Missions, Trip to Adm Nimitz WWII Museum where a plaque will be dedicated to Cony, a Friday nite buffet followed by a "Cony Idol" Karaoke party and a Farewell Banquet followed by a Dance to DJ Music.
