The reunion in Kansas City will be the sixth reunion since 1974 of the officers who served with VA-72 prior to, during, and shortly after the Vietnam War. Each reunion has expanded its reach in terms of both the years the attendees were attached to VA-72 and their billet in the squadron. In 2002, enlisted personnel attended for the first time.
