This is the Battalion emblem that was current when I served in RNMCB-23 from January 1980 until August 1990.I hope to get an all-eras reunion started in 2006, which would continue annually thereafter. Since NMCB-23 has now entered SEABEE legend with its deployment to Iraq, it is time to have a permanent gathering each year to honor the legend makers from our past back in WW II, and all those who followed, right up to the recent deployment in the "Global War on Terror ".
