This happens to be the cover of a cruise book from the third AT I performed as a member of RNMCB-23. My tour with the battalion ran 10 & 1/2 years from January 1980 through August, 1990. I hope to get an all-eras reunion started in 2008, which would continue annually thereafter. Since NMCB-23 has now entered SEABEE legend with its deployment to Iraq, it is time to have a permanent gathering each year to honor the legend makers from our past back in WW II, and all those who followed, right up to the recent deployment in the "Global War on Terror ". Interested members can contact former Command Master Chief Dave Preston to get this thing done!
