Reunion 2006 is history! There was not a large crowd but, a GREAT crowd.
Everyone had a good time.
There were 45 for dinner Saturday evening. The staff at the KC Hall did an excellent job as usual. The food and service were outstanding, plenty to eat, swiss steak, chicken, mashed potatos and gravey, green beans a beverage ice cream and a cookie for desert.Ed Beck did a great job as EMCC, there was a raffle and door prizes. Bob Lucas provided music via computer for listening and dining, Bob also had a slide show going with pictures from previous reunions and times while the squadron was still active.He plans to expand on this for 2008.Joan Swinehart assisted with everything and brought her displays of memorabilia. Gary Gard and Tommy Patterson joined the committee for 2008.
Planning was started for reunion 2008 and will continue until we gather for it.
The owner of Antigo AFS had the gate open Saturday and some of the members toured the site at their convenience.
A survey will be mailed out soon, requesting input concerning future reunions. If you have suggestions or ideas or want to remain on the mailing list, please respond to this survey ASAP.
Please start thinking about Antigo in 2008. Dates will be determined after the surveys are in.
