Register early with the hotel--you can always cancel if you can't make it.
The 2006 1st ANGLICO reunion will be May 18-21, with all the associated events--same place--the Midwest Hotel and Conference Center at 4900 Sinclair Road Columbus Ohio. The room rate is $65.00+tax for 1- 4 persons, and we will have the large first floor suite for our meeting room, video theater, and squad bay/officer's mess. When you make reservations at 1-877-609-6086 identify yourself as an attendee at the ANGLICO MARINE REUNION for the special rate. Free airport shuttle, exercise room, indoor and outdoor pools, good restaurant, etc. The 1964 USMC 5 ton 6X6 WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AS THE OWNER HAS DONATED IT TO A MUSEUM! WE will hit the AmVets breakfast Sat AM (with local Marine Corps Leaguers) for the really hungry, and stay there for the noon presentation, where an active 1stANGLICO Staff Sergeant and color guard who fly in Friday will do the honors. Most or all of them have served in Iraq. We will have lunch in that same place. There will be a group dinner on Saturday night, the pistol/100yd rifle range will be nearby if anybody wants to shoot, Motts Mititary Museum is waiting for us, or whatever else I/we can dream up for before or after Saturday. If you want to share a room, let me know and I will work to put you in contact with like-minded attendees. Within walking distance there are two other hotels--Motel 6 at 614 846 8520 and Best Value Inn at 614 431 3670. They are about $40.00 for two people. Some guys come in Thursday, and the event will start cranking up on Friday, hit full speed on Saturday, and slow significantly by Sunday, ....usually guys start to drift in Thursday and Friday, and by Monday most have hit the road. Semper Fi
