I'm happy to announce a date has been set for the USS Coontz 2005
Ship's Reunion! The majority of the ship's reunion committee met
tonight, and settled on July 22-24, 2005 as the reunion date. That
is a weekend, Friday through Sunday, and yes, it is almost exactly a year from now. Hopefully, that will give us more than enough time to locate more shipmates and make them aware of the reunion and this message board.
I realize this weekend may not be convenient for everybody, but then
again, NO weekend will be convenient for EVERYBODY. Hopefully, with this much advance notice, people can make time in their schedules and plan to be in Norfolk that weekend.
So, once again, here are the plans so far:
