The 2nd Station St. Simons Reunion is planned for Friday, November 13 - Sunday, November 15, 2009. All Coast Guard personnel affiliated with Station St. Simons from 1937 through its decommission in 1995 are welcome and encouraged to attend. The event is sponsored by the Coastal Georgia Historical Society, a non-profit organization that restored, opened, and now operates a Maritime Museum in the Historic Coast Guard Station. Reunion activities include tours of the Maritime Museum, St. Simons Lighthouse Museum, and Station Brunswick USCG as well as a picnic, a low country boil, a catered dinner and other activities. Reunion fee is $85.00 per person. Several area hotels are offering special rates for reunion attendees. We hope you will join us for a weekend of fun, celebration, and remembrance.
