FARC Ideology
Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC)
is a Marxist Group whose aim is to overthrow the government and ruling
class of Columbia. Their claims to moral legitimacy are based largely
on their opposition to the right-wing paramilitaries that historically
have been tolerated and at times utilized by the Colombian government.
FARC considers the government to be pawns of United States imperialism.
