Aviation Career Incentive Pay (Officers)
Aviation career incentive pay is given to regular and reserve officers who hold, or are in training leading to, an aeronautical rating or designation and who engage and remain in aviation service on a career basis. (Last updated June 2003)

Combat Zone Tax Exclusion
If you are a member of the U.S. Armed Forces who serves in a combat zone, you can exclude certain pay from your income and save on your taxes.
Diving Duty Pay

Hardship Duty Pay (Enlisted)
Hardship duty pay is is additional compensation paid to servicemembers assigned to locations where living conditions are substantially below those conditions in the continental U.S. (CONUS).
Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay
Servicemembers that perform flying duty as a noncrew member, parachute jumping, demolition of explosives, handle toxic fuels, or engage in flight deck duty or experimental stress duty can earn $150 per month. (Last updated June 2003)
Hostile Fire/Imminent Danger Pay
Active duty and Reserve/Guard members can qualify for $225 for any month in which they are exposed to hostile fire or imminent danger. (Last Updated June 2003)
Judge Advocate Continuation Pay
An eligible judge advocate who remains on active duty for a period of obligated service may be paid continuation pay of up to $60,000. (Last updated June 2003)
Navy Family Subsistence Supplemental Allowance
The Family Subsistence Supplemental Allowance (FSSA) program provides qualified sailors a supplemental allowance of up to $500 per month.
Nuclear Career Bonuses

If you are an officer of the Medical Corps of the Army or the Navy, Public Health Service, or an officer of the Air Force designated as a medical officer than you are entitled Special Pay.
Special Pay For Veterinarian Officers
Commissioned officers on active duty who are designated as veterinary officers or hold a degree in veterinary medicine are eligible for special pay in the amount of $100 a month.
Special Warfare Officer Continuation Pay
A special warfare officer who executes a written agreement to remain on active duty in special warfare service for at least one year may be paid a continuation bonus of up to $15,000. (Last updated June 2003)
