PRISTINA, Serbia and Montenegro, July 5, 2005 — In support of Joint Operation Guardian at Kosovo Forces here in Film City, Pristina, managing the supply warehouse is the task of one airman.

Tech. Sgt. Tormarcla Tillmon, 401st Air Expeditionary Wing Detachment 2 here, is responsible for all warehouse property and customs shipments.

“The warehouse supports all supplies KFOR servicemembers may require, requests including office supplies and furniture and any non-stock requests,” said Tillmon. “Custom shipments include food, clothes and beverages stocked in each country's post exchange or specialty shop here.”

Tillmon, who is deployed from the 314th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., said her job at KFOR is one of a kind.

“Being involved with customs handling by ensuring all property is accounted for on customs forms is something new and unique, as I have never been involved with this type of service before,” she explained.

The sergeant, who has 13 years of service, said her experience in Kosovo has been positive.

“Being in Kosovo opens your eyes to another side of the military – by being a part of NATO. It (NATO), is a unique opportunity to be a part of and to see firsthand how my job fits into the mission,” the sergeant said.

“What I'm going to take away is the appreciation the locals have for Americans and knowing we made a difference in Kosovo,” she added.
