Let me explain why: If an individual joins the service when he or she is in high school and I give him or her great service, who do you think they will be talking to? Their friends! Their teachers! Their counselors! Plus anybody else who will listen. They will wear their military t-shirt and be a walking billboard for recruiting. By giving awesome service and the best most up-to-date information to every applicant, recruiters can use the power of word-of-mouth to be successful.
If you are considering joining the military or already in the process of joining, you deserve the best customer service possible but remember it goes both ways. Your recruiter also deserves good service from you. Keeping appointments, being on time, and gathering the necessary documents are just part of what your recruiter needs from you. Some other important things your recruiter needs are for you to be enthusiastic about the military, tell your friends how great it is, and bring them to talk with your recruiter.

Every recruiter’s ultimate goal is to find highly qualified people to join the military. A recruiter’s ultimate success relies on the happiness of the men and women they put in the military.
