Joe Gladden (Captain, USN, retired) is the founder of Veteran Realty Serving America's Military, Inc. (VR SAM(TM)), whose mission is to serve the unique challenges of military families moving to and from the Northern Virginia / metro DC area., Joe, and wife Debbie's, 25 years of Naval Service took them to eleven different geographic locations and numerous deployments worldwide. During his service, Joe commanded a P-3 squadron, the Navy's largest P-3 wing, was the Executive Officer of a Naval Air Station, and served on Pentagon staffs. He was a resident Advanced Research Associate at the Naval War College and received a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies.

Now in their sixth year, VR SAM offers military families, and their Realtors(TM), a free venue to advertise their homes and listings for sale or rent on MORE SAM(TM). As leading advocates for Military Family homeownership issues, MORE SAM(TM) is also host to the popular VR SAM(TM) National Military Community Forum. VR SAM(TM)'s advocacy for the Military Family has led to numerous interviews by leading media organizations to include: Military.com, New York Times, Washington Post, Pentagon Media Channel, and the nationally syndicated radio talk show, Real Estate Today.

Joe and Debbie are natives of Steelville, Mo., and attended the University of Missouri where he was commissioned from the Navy ROTC program with a BS in Business Administration with a major in Economics.
