WASHINGTON -- Air Force officials recently announced the 2003 Outstanding Air Force Aircrew Life Support of the Year
award winners.
These awards recognize the accomplishments of aircrew life support people and programs.
The 2003 winners are:
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Headquarters Staff Member: Master Sgt. Kenneth Wallace from Air Force Special Operations
Command headquarters at Hurlburt Field, Fla.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Officer of the Year: Capt. Joshua Fite from the 55th Operations Support Squadron at
Offutt Air Force Base, Neb.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Richard Bruck from the
325th OSS at Tyndall AFB, Fla.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support NCO of the Year: Staff Sgt. David Siemiet from the 9th OSS at Beale AFB, Calif.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Airman of the Year: Senior Airman Jerry Brown from the 97th OSS at Altus AFB, Okla.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Civilian (Category I) of the Year: Gerardo Pino from the 60th OSS at Travis AFB, Calif.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Civilian (Category II) of the Year: Darlene Daspit from the 12th OSS at Randolph AFB,
Texas.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Civilian (Category III) of the Year: Linda Hamilton from the 311th Human Systems Wing at
Brooks City-Base, Texas.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Large Program of the Year: 48th Fighter Wing at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England.
- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Small Program of the Year: 35th OSS at Misawa Air Base, Japan.
These awards will be presented at the 2004 Worldwide Life Support Workshop, July 26 to 30, in San Antonio.
