Military.com Career Channel

I received an email from Military.com with a header stating great jobs with the federal government await you. From there I went to the USAJOBS website and thanks to Military.com, I found a great career in Federal Law enforcement with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Without Military.com, I would have never heard of USAJOBS or the BOP.

Bring the Guard Home

I think we should bring the National Guard troops home and send the regular Army over to Iraq and Afghanistan. The National Guard was set up for home defense and for home problems (like floods). I was in the regular Army and had to go where I was told; that's why you sign up for a tour.

-- Rick Thomas

Thanks for Educational Resources!

I am a veteran of the US Air Force and Military.com has been a great resource for me. When I decided to finally finish my education, I used the Military.com school finder, which provided me with many options. I also obtained useful information on how to use my GI-Bill. I have now completed my BS in Management of Human Resources through Bellevue University. I also helped my husband and co-workers find colleges to fit their needs by directing them to Military.com.

I also utilized was the base information link. This link gives informative information about the base, local community, employment, and schools (and provides a listing of important phone numbers). I am so thankful for Military.com. It has made things in my life a lot easier.

Military Role in Katrina Aftermath

I would like to commend our military for the great work they have done to help the relief effort in New Orleans. Our government should have had a plan in place long before this disaster ever happened.

Bolster the Troops

Everybody realizes that we need more troops in Iraq to stabilize the situation, but this administration refuses to send more. What's the sense of continuing a war that we don't want to win? And when will the military finally wake up and ask why are we the only ones paying for this war?

-- Eric Chandler
