Contractors fill bags of sand in New Orleans, LA. The Army National Guard engineers repair levees using cranes and helicopters. Sand bags are dropped into the levees and used to plug up the holes.

 

Contractors, under the guidance of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, fill bags of sand in New Orleans, La., on Sept. 7, 2005.
