More Saving for the Future The Defense Department is focusing its efforts to make sure troops are able to save for the future. One of the initiatives DoD is pursuing is a program called Military Saves. More Some Still Have Time to Vote Absentee Servicemembers and U.S. citizens living overseas still have time to register, request a ballot and vote in November's mid-term elections, the Defense Department official in charge of the absentee voting program said last week.
