FUNCTIONAL AREA 90 (FA90), MULTIFUNCTIONAL LOGISTICIAN, DESIGNATION POLICY

2. Summary.
All Ordnance (OD), Quartermaster (QM), Transportation (TC), and Medical Service Corps (MSC) officers who graduate from the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course (CLC3) will receive the 90A functional area (multifunctional logistician) designation and it will be documented on the Officer’s Record Brief (ORB).
3. Implementation.
The Combat Service Support Division (CSSD), OPMD, HRC, will load the 90A designator on all affected officers’ ORBs. Beginning with graduates of FY07 CLC3 classes, the course manager will forward standard name line of graduates to the appropriate career managers to add the 90A designator to the officer(s) ORBs. CSSD will top load the 90A designator on all ORBs of affected officers who graduated prior to FY07.
