Dave Lee Ervin entered service in Jackson Mich abt 1963/64 age abt 17. Went to Highschool in Jackson. Family was from Decatur Ill. Stepfather's surname was Harshberger. They lived on Southside Jackson near Ella Sharp Park and the Cascade Park. He was in the 11th Air Assult Div in Columbus Ga in the Headquarters quartermaster for the Div. He went with 11th to Nam. 11th became the 1st Cav before deploymnet to Nam abt Aug 66. Discharged in/abt 1967. He worked at the Jackson Citizen Patriot newspaper after Nam then moved to Angola IN then to Fort Wayne working as car salesman where he reentered service again abt 1980 or 1981. Lost contact at that point |
