SP4 Broeckling was a member of the first class to graduate from the first jump school to be held at Ft. Richardson, Alaska in October 1972. Earning his jump wings marked him as an ARCTIC PARATROOPER and he was an original member of Charlie Airborne when C-1-60th first became designated as an Airborne Qualified rifle company in October 1972. Captain Steve Dahlgren was our Company Commander. Brock served the last six months of his enlistment with the 82nd Airborne Division.
