My father was a P-47 pilot who crashed in action over Bad Kreuznach, Germany, 18-March-1945. He was captured, but convinced the Germans to surrender sometime between 18-March and 21-March. My father turned his captors over to elements of the 4th Armored Division occupying Bad Kreuznach. I'm looking for anyone who might remember this incident. |
