 Tribute:
Chief Bebow entered active service in March 1968 at Randolph AFB, Texas. After finishing basic training, Ron continued with follow-on tech school at Chanute AFB, Illinois where he was taught aircraft pneudraulic systems. After finishing tech school Ron was assigned to McConnell AFB, Kansas working the F-105 Thunderchief as a pneudraulic specialist. Ron served 3 tours in Vietnam from 1969 to 1972 and in June 1974, decided to leave active duty to pursue a civilian career working for Transit Alert here at Peterson AFB until 1982. In September 1982 Ron decided to join the Air Force Reserves with the 901st Tactical Airlift Group here at Peterson Air Force Base which later converted over to the 302d Airlift Wing in 1985. During his career here, Chief Bebow has served as a Pneudraulics Systems Technician Supervisor, Field Maintenance Superintendent, Organizational Maintenance Superintendent and the Chief of the Maintenance Squadron.
