The 291st Helped to shorten the war, By blowing bridge's acrossed the Rhine, to stop Germay's panzers, from Flanking them, While stoping the Panzer Elite,{ Pippers } and allso building the longest floatation bridge in WW 2 it was 833 feet , While under extreme cannon fire, and small arm's, every day. Our 291st endured through the toughest 30 hours , Germay can throw at them, and sent in fresh amercian troops right in to germays, back door.
