Richard  Meade  (Dick)

 Rank,  Service

E-7 Sergeant First Class/Spec. 8, Army

 Veteran of:

World War-II

 Tribute:
My grandfather was one of my favorite people in the whole world! He always said "Girl, you have to work hard for what you believe in and take nothing for granted." He served his country for twenty-five years and never once complained. During the war he was said to have a smile on his face even when he felt like breaking down and crying. During the world war two he had to grow up fast and hard. He fought with all that he had and saved many of his fellow soldiers, not just from the enemy, but from themselves. My grandmother told me that he saved her from enemy fire when she was working as a nurse for the Army and she will always appreciate him for it. I hope that people will learn from Richard M. Meade and want to do the good that he has done.
