There is much my family owes this man of integrity, whose service to the Navy was unblemished, faithful, and most of all, motivated. Theres something to be said about not doing things "half-assed" as Chuck would put it. Combine this attitude with a commitment to his service, and you have one hell of a Petty Officer. Many regard the Navy as a slack version of the Marines. The Navy serves its specific purpose that may not require Marine intensity, but it is something that Chuck possessed in his 23 years of commitment to the Navy, and Upon his retiring in December of 2004, he still holds that same intensity and drive to do a job right.
