The next reunion will be held in the area of Quantico, VA and the Marine Corps Museum. Somet\ine between 4-15-2012 and 5-15-2012. I need help to locate as many veterans and currently serving members so start going over your lists. Please email me with any information. All current and former members are included in this reunion. For those of you who don't know the last reunion was in Jan of '07 at MCAS, New River, NC. Roughly 130 folks attended. I'd like to make that a larger number for the 55th Anniversary of the squadron.

2009 HMH-465 WARHORSE REUNION:
28 July 2009
This year's Reunion is scheduled to run from Thursday the 24th of September to Sunday the 27th. We have some Marines that will be getting into town as early as Wednesday the 23rd and leaving as late as Tuesday. The longer that you can stay the better, after all, it only happens every two years.
The Reunion Dinner Party is the evening of Saturday the 26th of September 2009 @ 5:00PM. The dinner will take place at the Monte Carlo, the same hotel we're staying at.
As for other places we'll be visiting, I'll be putting together a list of places that we'll use as meeting areas with a schedule of times. that way, as soon as you get in to town, you'll know where you should be.
If you find yourself without this list, just call me @ 949.637.4633 and I'll let you know where we're at (very important, you don't want to be the only person wondering the strip blindly.)
The price per person for the event dinner party will be $75.00 per person. Pay at the door (cash or check only). Keep in mind that payment is required to access the party.

MONTE CARLO HOTEL ROOM RESERVATION PROCEDURE
Make sure that you use the group code ( XHMH465 ) when booking your room!
All Guests will be getting Deluxe Rooms. They are offering "High Floor Deluxe Rooms" for an additional $10.00 and "Strip View Deluxe Rooms" for an additional $20.00. Keep this in mind when booking your room.
Telephone Reservations
Reservations will be telephoned directly to Hotel Reservation Department toll-free at 800-311-8999. In order to receive the group rate, callers must identify their affiliation with 2009 HMH-465 Warhorse Squadron Reunion, and confirm their reservations with a deposit prior to the cutoff date. To further assist with the reservation process, a group code XHMH465 is provided for all attendees to utilize when calling in their reservations. Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out for guests who fail to identify their affiliation at the time the reservation is made.
Online Reservations
In order to receive the group rate, guests must use the online reservation form by choosing the "Hotel Reservations" link at http:/www.montecarlo.com, and enter the group code, XHMH465. Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out for guests who fail to enter the group code or who fail to receive a confirmation through the online booking system. All other terms and conditions and outlines on the Hotel Internet reservations site apply. The cut-off date is August 25th 2009. So, get your room now!

Birthday Bash in Philly:
Any Red Lions that will be in the Philadelphia are on Nov. 10th stop by Cookies Tavern. They close down about three blocks and throw one hell of a party. I've gone for the last four years and couldn't tell you a damn thing about it. We already gave a couple of guys going:Mike Cannel, Mike Nolan, Ryan Nolan, Rick Henry, Jim Thorn. Usually the wookie comes but I don't think he'll be attending this year. Anyone traveling from North Jersey let me know because we usually get a limo. Semper Fi. Ron Koeppen

Tustin to K-Bay:
I'm looking to put together a Red Lion reunion, any of the Lucky Red are invited, but it's specifically aimed at those from 95-98, just a bit before and after the move from Tustin to K-Bay. Mostly because, well, that's when I was with 363, and those are the people I'd know. Nothing set yet, completely open to suggestions of when and where. I'm looking to do this sometime in the upcoming year, but if I need to plan further into the future, can do.

HMH-463:
"Marines, Squadron mates, aviators, crew chiefs and line personnel, HMH-463 is having a squadron reunion October 24th & 25th 2007. The reunion is being held at the Colorado Belle Resort, in Laughlin, Nevada! Laughlin is approximately 70 miles south of Las Vegas. Rooms at the Colorado Belle are $18 a night. Contact hotel reservations at 1-800-677-4837. Give them the group number "GPVET" to get your hotel discount. Meals for two evenings and use of the hospitality suite is $85 a piece. It will be $155 for a couple.
If you have already confirmed your flight and hotel reservations, please forward a check to Gunny Dale "Hoot" Gibson for the meals and hospitality room. Gunny has worked very hard coordinating this function and he should not have to carry the financial considerations until every one arrives. Please forward you check to Dale or Paula Gibson, P. O. 2005 Warhorse Reunion:
