(Page 2 of 3 Pages): At 1830 hours in the Breathitt Room, 2nd Floor, East Tower all attendees met and had refreshments from 1830 to 1930 and then it was dinner - time. Afterwards, LTC Tom Briggs had a formal opening of the Reunion. Then the microphone was passed on to COL, ret, Vern Pike, a former 385th MP BN Commander and LTC, ret, Jim Reilley, a former 31st MP Detachment Commander and Provost Marshal. Then the microphone was passed around to all the attendees and each introduced himself and a great time was had by all. After the dinner event, the Hospitality Room was open to all the attendees and memories were discussed and old friendships revived. Saturday all loaded the buses for the Fort Knox Tour. All attendees met at 0900 hours in the hotel lobby and loaded onto 2 buses and departed at 0930 for Ft Knox and arrived at the gate where they were met by a MP Patrol and escorted the Area Dining Facility for brunch. Then onto the buses and escorted by an MP Patrol out to an outside grass area for a briefing by the Post MP Detachment SRT and K-9 Teams, which included a demonstrations of the K-9 Teams at work. From there a short walk to the Patton Museum for a tour of the facilities from 1330 to 1500 hours. Departed and returned to the Gault House. "OF THE TROOPS AND FOR THE TROOPS"
