(Page 3 of 3 Pages): At 1800 all members met in the hotel lobby and walked two blocks to the loading dock and boarded the "Spirit of Jeffersonville" for a Dinner Cruise on the Ohio River. The boat set out onto the Ohio River and a dinner and refreshments was served on board as the tour continued. The weather was perfect, the food was great, and a good time was had by all. Upon returning to the landing at the Gault House area, the members arrived at the hotel and the Hospitality Room was opened to all who wanted to use it. Sunday at 1010 hours, all attendees with last names beginning with A thru K loaded onto the first bus and departed for Church Hill Down and the races. The 2nd bus loaded all attendees with last names L thru Z at 1020 hours and departed for Church Hill Downs. Upon arriving at Church Hill Downs the tour started at the Museum and then on to Millionaires Row for a Lunch buffet and to watch the horses run...Everyone loaded the buses and returned to the hotel, again having a great sunny day for the events. Monday morning at 0715 hours the Hospitality Room was opened and coffee and doughnuts were served and after a while it became a reality - the REUNION 2008- had been completed and everyone headed for home.
