MPCo, HQBn, 1st MarDive sent selected members to HMAS Stirling in Western Australia in 1982 for three months as part of the 7th Marine Amphibious Brigade (7th MAB). I was one of the lucky few to draw liberty in Perth, Australia. It was wild.
