Deployed to Mogadishu Somalia Dec 92 to May 93. Linked with 11th Marines at the airport and General Wilhelm Security Detachment at the Embassy. Spent the first week securing K-4 and thereafter Conducted mounted security and recon patrols through Mogadishu. Fired on several times but no return fire as there was no identifiable target per rules of engagement. Detained General aideeds security team at K-4 but not the General. Etc. Etc. Etc.
