Does anyone remember when all those vehicles got stuck in all that mud along the Imjim? It was in 1968 that all this went on. I can not remember how many but I am pretty sure it was like for or five total. The 1/72nd Armor sent up their VTR and it too got stuck. We were allow to sit on the opposite shore and watch the show and what a show it was. I have never seen so many officers that pissed in my life. Even the big shots in country were up there watching and giving advice which added to the confusion. This went on for a few days and they even used the biggest heloicopters they had to get them out.
