The picture is of LCU 1475 and YFU 75 offloading at the city of Hue in 1968. This picture was taken by Bob Shelton QM3 of the 1475. The YFU 75 was lost along with the LCU 1500 while backloading at Bridge Ramp in Danang February 27, 1969. The craft were finishing their backload of ammo when hit with mortar fire. Both crews were lost, Twenty-two of our brothers, may they rest in peace.
