I am John J Hunt, I was sprn in 5 Jan 1944 and started boot camp in Co 54. Our barracks was across from the brig. Our Co commander was Baratelli. I believe we graduated 18 Feb and I went home for a week before going mainside to Electricians mate school. Left there the first week in July for the west coast and south Pacific. Eventually ending up on the USS PC 583, then the PC 485 and PC 800. Discharged 14 Jun 1946 as an EM3c. Enlisted in the Air Force 18 Mar 1948 and retired from the Pentagon 31 Jul 1969 as an E-8.
