16 Mar First Tour to Viet Nam (Lawrence Billman)
I was on the Enterprise when she made her first tour to Viet Nam. That was the first time a necular powered surface ship went into combat. There were three necular powered ships in our group. The Canbara, and the Bainbridge. I was proud to be a part to that history making event.

Don't know if it's the same person or not. I knew an Alan Perry on the USS Callaghan (DDG-994) from 1986 to 1988. His rate was FC2 and he was in his early 20s.
