08 Jan	HHC 501st. S & T Division, Fort Hood, Tesas. (Daniel Moreno) I took my basic training at ft. hood, and was stationed there until my ETS. I was a Cook there from Oct. 1966-Oct. 1968, I was an E-4 when i ETS'd. I still remember my Army buddies, God Bless You All.
11 Nov	1st/1st Arm. Cal. Sq Ft. Hood Texas (Byron Cagle) Made unit move from Ft. Hood to Chu Lai Rep. of Viet Nam. Traveled to Nam aboard troop ship USNS Nelsom M. Walker. 33 days at sea. Landed in Nam aboard LST on the beach at Chu Lai Down the Coast from Da Nang Harbor. VC and Aw Shaw valley battles, what a time!
