24 Jun	C co 1stbn 61st inf 1st brigade 5thArmy (Richard Clancy) My unit went to vietnam from Ft. Carson Co. Our base in vietnam was called camp Red Devil and it was near Quangtri. We also spent alot of time along the DMZ at con thien , A2,and C2. It was a mechinized infrantry unit
24 Jan	3rd 19th field artillery ( ) I served at Fort Polk in with the 3rd of the 19th assigned to B-battery at a time when we went from 155 towed howitzer to the M109 self propelled howitzer. The unit 1st sargent was named Palmer. The battilon commander was Col. Rossi who was a p.t. fanatic.
