I agree with Charles Johnson. I served under Gen. Emerson twice in my career and had alot of respect for the man. The only people I knew who didn't like him were the lazy flunkies who had no interest in being a good soldier anyway. |

I met Gen. Emerson while playing "Combat Football" which was Gunfighter's invention I think. It was in May or June of 1975 at Camp Casey. It was a crazy game but fun and Gunfighter loved it I believe. |

I met the gunfighter in person in Camp Casey in
1974. General Henery E. Emerson. He was a soldiers soldier and a good friend. We spoke on the phone often following his retirement and prior to his death. I'll never forget him. |
