Histories for 2nd Infantry Division

13 Jan 1/32nd Inf 2nd Div (David Apperson)
The 1/32nd Buccaneers were the best - serving on the DMZ or resting at base camp. In this unit I learned the art of being a true pirate.

I served on the dmz and camp hovey had good times in TDC.Got out and joinned the(SELOUS SCOUTS) OF the Rhodesian army (SOUTH AFRICA) NOT GOOD TIMES.
03 Dec Gunfighter (Charles Johnson)
Amen Jim, I was gung ho all the way, and I agree the remfs hated Henry E. Emmerson because they could'nt live up to his expectations. R.I.P GUNFIGHTER, SECOND TO NONE.
15 Nov Gunfighter (Donald Williams)
I brook my neck at Combat football. It was in Sept. 75. Not so much fun. I did love duty korea,From 1972 to 1975. Great duty and people. I do miss it. Sgt. Don Williams.
07 Nov DMZ of Korea (David Apperson)
I served on the DMZ 77-78 and I am glad to say 10-4 has shown me that AMERICA IS ONE NATION
29 Oct More Gunfighter (Jim Handy)

27 Oct re: Gunfighter (James Kearney)
I met Gen. Emerson while playing "Combat Football" which was Gunfighter's invention I think. It was in May or June of 1975 at Camp Casey. It was a crazy game but fun and Gunfighter loved it I believe.
23 Oct Gunfighter (Charles Johnson)
I met the gunfighter in person in Camp Casey in 1974. General Henery E. Emerson. He was a soldiers soldier and a good friend. We spoke on the phone often following his retirement and prior to his death. I'll never forget him.
13 Oct Aug 1976 (Jim Handy)
I had just been assigned to an Arty liason position because I was getting short and my replacement had arrived to take over the Bn FDC Section. I remember my battery commander busting into my room with two ammo cans and shouting "Sgt. Handy get up, here's your weapon, your Cpt.'s weapon and a can... More
09 Oct re: August 18th 1976 (James Kearney)
I had cleared post and was getting ready to fly to Travis on the 22nd of Aug 76. When those guys got killed and the whole Division went on alert on the 18th I had already turned in all my equipment and watched my friends locked and loaded heading out as I was leaving to go to Yongsan. We never... More
