The 4th Battalion of the 118th Regiment is a Mechanized Infantry Uniut located in Union, South Carolina. It consists of 3 line companies - Alpha Company in Fountain Inn; Bravo Company in Chester; and Charlie Company in Gaffney. The Headquarters Company is co-located in Union with Detachments in Lockhart with Supply; and Jonesville with the Scout and Mortar platoons. Our mission is to train to fight future military conflicts abroad and to protect the interests of the state of South Carolina during natural disasters and for homeland defense.
